SOUL NAKED

Tutto accadeva in modo molto naturale e spontaneo.

Stay Soul Naked!

1. ONCE

For once, just once,
I heard you’re embrace inside my heart.
Time goes by and I don’t remember who you are.
What kind of colour is your eyes?

I felt your perfume.
Yes, I felt it,
and it was indescribable,
and in that time
I realized that my heart will beat again.

There are many differences between us
and inside, we knew it never work but I still love you.
This is the price will ever pay
inside, my heart is quiet and I still pray for you.

My memories of you are tearing my heart apart
but all that you gave to me is a big part of my soul.
I smile, inside I cry,
‘cause I feel that you’re not mine.
We are what we are
and we can also go away,
but love will never leave us.

There are many differences between us
and inside, we knew it never work but I still love you.
This is the price will ever pay
inside, my heart is quiet and I still pray for you.

2. MIRROR

This morning I woke up without my strength
and when I saw my face in the mirror
I coulden’t see my self
but just a shadow of me.

I’m the sun, and not that dark cloud in the sky.
I’m the rainbow and not the rain in my eyes.

I was falling down, but I’d learnt to move on
and I win all my tears.
I realize my enemies where my fears.

I’m the sun, and not that dark cloud in the sky.
I’m the rainbow and not the rain in my eyes.

3. NVULA WA MUDUMBI

Dal cielo vedo la pioggia scendere,
la sento battere sul finestrino.
Quante persone aspettan che piova per piangere?
Quante persone pregano sotto la pioggia?

Nvula wa mudumbi, nvula wa mudumbi.
Nvula wa mudumbi, nvula wa mudumbi.

Mentre i grattaceli fanno festa

Pioggia lava via ogni dolore, ogni paura,
dopo la tempesta nuovi colori.

Nvula wa mudumbi, nvula wa mudumbi.
Nvula wa mudumbi, nvula wa mudumbi.
Nvula wa mudumbi, nvula wa mudumbi.
Nvula wa mudumbi, nvula wa mudumbi.

4. ANGER

I need a place for me, for I want to see.
I need a place for me, for I want to be.
But what I really realize in these days
it’s who I’m not today.
What I want now it’s my free soul and truth.

What I really want to realize it’s who I am.
What I want to do it’s just learn to fly.
And I need my place, yes, I need my space,
I need peace in my heart.
But my anger is still burning in me,
I just wanna go away.

And I need my place, yes, I need my space,
I need peace around me,
But my anger is still burning in me,
I just wanna fly away.

5. SOUL NAKED

I’d try to forget
how beautiful in my head
you are in this moment.
I’d try to understand
this sad word’s in my head
they’re coming when you’re not here with me.

So my soul is naked:
loving you, living you, can’t forget your eyes again,
baby, my soul is naked.
So my soul is naked:
loving you, living you, can’t forget your eyes again,
baby, my soul is naked.

And when you smile me in that way
I can forget my sorrow.
Now, here with this song
I’m trying to explain what I’m feeling for you.

So my soul is naked:
loving you, living you, can’t forget your eyes again,
baby, my soul is naked.
So my soul is naked:
loving you, living you, can’t forget your eyes again,
baby, my soul is naked.

Black eyes,
black eyes still need you.

7. PEOPLE GET READY

People get ready
there’s a train a-coming.
You don’t need no baggage,
you just get on board.
All you need is faith
to hear the diesels humming.
Don’t need no ticket
you just thank the Lord.

So people get ready
there’s a train to Jordan.
Picking up passengers
from coast to coast.
Faith is the key
open up the doors
and board them.
There’s hope for all
among those loved the most.

There ain’t no room
for the hopeless sinner
who would hurt all mankind
just to save his own.
Have pity on those
whose chances grow thinner
for there’s no hiding place
against the Kingdom’s throne.

People get ready
for the train a-comin’.
You don’t need no baggage.
You just get on board.
All you need is faith
to hear the diesels humming.
Don’t need no ticket.
You just thank the Lord.

People get ready                                [get ready]
there’s a train a-comin’.
You don’t need no baggage.               [no baggage]
You just get on board.
All you need is faith                          [All you need is faith]
to hear the diesels humming.
Don’t need no ticket.
You just thank the Lord.
